About

The West Australian Rugby League Past Players and Supporters committee is a non-profit organisation established in 1995. The committee was formed by ex-players with the vision to hold an annual “re-union” day for all past players and supporters who were involved with Rugby League in Western Australia.

Each year around November, a function is held to celebrate and acknowledge events and teams that shaped Rugby League in Western Australia. Generally this would entail presenting a State or Premiership team from approximately 40 years past, who get together to re-live their involvement with their clubs, state teams and rugby league in general and rekindle the mateship and camaraderie of team mates and opponents.

Also during this day a new member/s is inducted into the “Hall of Fame“. During the year, nominations are vetted against a set of qualifying criteria and a selection is made. The award is presented to the recipient in front of all members present at the re-union day.

Any past player or supporter of the Western Australian Rugby League who would like more information on this re-union day can email us to be added to our mailing list and receive an invitation to the next function. Send an email to warlpastplayers@live.com.au and you can be kept up to date with all the latest news or simply sign-up to this website to be sent any new events or news directly to your inbox..
