Some more sad news with the passing of Bob Quinlan Snr. from the South Perth Rugby League Club overnight….
Bob was a 5x South Perth Rugby League Club Premier Player, coached South Perth First Grade, and won Top Try Scorer in WA on several occasions.
Bob played against the great French teams that won the World Cup in 1951 & 1955 and was Vice Captain aged 20 in 1951 in which he scored two tries against them at the Claremont Showgrounds.
Bob was inducted into the NRLWA Hall of Fame in 1999 and was a great supporter of the South Perth club and Rugby League in WA.
Our thoughts and condolences are with his family and thank you to his Granddaughter, Lee Callaway for sending in these photos at this difficult time.
RIP Bob.
