A benefit night will be held in memory of Kymberlie Shepherd, fiancé of Wayde Kelly and mother of their son Kyden. Kymberlie tragically lost her life due to an extremely rare complication during the birth of Kyden. She suffered an Amniotic Fluid Embolism which effects just 6 in every 100,000 births.
We are asking for your assistance for a fundraiser planned for 6.30pm Thursday 27th November at Gloucester Park to help support Kymberlies partner Wayde in his endeavors raising their son Kyden.
Kymberlie Shepherd was a much loved teacher at Safety Bay High School and the Reflection Academy of Dance in Medina. She had a contagious smile, a beautiful bright personality and was adored by everyone that had the pleasure of meeting her. She will be sorely missed.
Wayde Kelly is an NRL Game Development Officer for the WA Rugby League; he played for the South Perth Lions as well as the WA State Representative team for the past three years. Both Wayde & Kymberlie are extremely respected within the School and Rugby League communities.
Kymberlie and Wayde come from northern NSW. They have no family in WA. With Kymberlie’s passing Wayde will have to relocate from their home in Perth back to NSW with young son Kyden to be near family to help with the task of raising their newborn son.
As you will appreciate this will be a huge challenge for Wayde and will require him to be a single home parent for some time.
Your support would be greatly appreciated and will help make the Benefit Night a huge success. No amount of money will replace Kymberlie, however we hope with a combined effort that we are able to relieve the stress from Wayde with some funds to cover the cost of relocation and home support that he will need at this difficult time.
Your contribution, no matter how great or small will go a long way to support Kyden’s future.
